INA700 STAMP
What is it?
The INA700 Stamp is a compact breakout board built around the Texas Instruments INA700 current sense amplifier. It simplifies the integration of the INA700 into your projects, offering both Through-Hole Technology (THT) and Surface-Mount Technology (SMT) variants for versatile mounting options. Designed with accessibility in mind, this board is ideal for applications requiring high-precision current sensing and overcurrent detection.
Why did you make it?
The INA700 is a powerful current sense amplifier, but its small form factor can make it difficult to work with, especially for prototyping or small-scale projects. I created the INA700 Stamp to solve this problem by providing a ready-to-use breakout board that makes it easy to integrate the INA700 into your designs without the hassle of creating custom PCBs. Additionally, by making the board open-source, I wanted to empower developers and hobbyists to explore and innovate further.
What makes it special?
- Ease of Use: The INA700 Stamp removes the complexity of working with small LGA packages, allowing for quick and easy prototyping.
- Flexibility: Available in both THT and SMT variants to accommodate different assembly preferences and project requirements.
- High Precision: Leverages the INA700's excellent performance for accurate bidirectional current sensing.
- Open Source: The design is open-source, enabling users to modify, improve, or adapt it for their specific needs. All design files are freely available on GitHub.
- Compact Design: The small size of the board makes it suitable for space-constrained applications.
